Terms of use
Last updated 7 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Using AI Well (“we”, “us”), an Australian business based in Victoria, Australia. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. Please read them; they’re written to be easy to understand.
1. Your account
- You must be 16 or older to create an account.
- Give us a real email address and keep your password private. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- Accounts are for one person. Please don’t share your login. Each account can be logged in on up to 2 devices at once; logging in on another device logs out the one used least recently.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.
2. The beta
Using AI Well is currently in beta. During the beta, access is free and by invitation. Things may change, break, or be unavailable at times, and we may reset or change features while we improve them. We’ll give account holders notice before the beta ends and paid access begins.
3. Paid access (after the beta)
- Full access is a one-time payment (currently $10 AUD), not a subscription. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
- “Full access” means access to all current lessons for as long as we operate the course. We may add, update or improve lessons over time.
- Refunds: we don’t give refunds for change of mind. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: if the course has a major problem, or isn’t as described, you’re entitled to a refund. To ask for one, email usingaiwell.help@gmail.com.
4. Using the content
- The lessons, text, designs and other content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright.
- You may use the lessons for your own personal learning, including using the prompts and ideas in your own life, study and work.
- Please don’t copy, share, resell or publish the lessons, or try to get around the login, device limit or payment.
5. Fair use
Please don’t misuse the site: for example, don’t try to break or overload it, access other people’s accounts or data, or send abusive or unlawful feedback. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and will tell you why where we reasonably can.
6. About the information in the lessons
The lessons teach general skills for using AI tools. They are not professional advice (for example medical, legal or financial advice). AI tools change quickly and can make mistakes, so always check important information and follow the rules of your school, workplace or organisation. AI tools mentioned in lessons are run by other companies, under their own terms.
7. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Using AI Well accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can’t be excluded.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make important changes, we’ll let account holders know before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.
9. Law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
