Using AI Well teaches you to use AI tools well, for everyday life, study and work. The lessons are short, practical and written in plain language. No experience is needed.

It helps to try things as you go (free tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot all work), but you don’t have to. Every lesson includes worked examples, so you can still finish without one.

No. You can open any lesson at any time. They do build on each other, so we recommend going in order, and your course page highlights what’s up next.

Anyone aged 16 or over who wants to use AI with more confidence: students, working adults, parents and older learners.

Check your spam or junk folder, and wait a couple of minutes. On the log in page, after you try to log in, you can ask for the email to be sent again.

Go to Forgot password, enter your email, and we’ll send you a link to choose a new one. The link works once, for one hour.

Go to Account and edit “Name we call you”.

Go to Account and choose “Delete my account”. This permanently removes your account and progress.

You can be logged in on up to 2 devices at the same time (for example, your phone and your laptop). Two different browsers on the same computer count as two devices.

If you log in on a new device when you’re already using 2 devices, the one you used least recently is logged out automatically. This keeps your account secure. Your progress is always kept; just log in again.

Pages you’ve visited and your progress keep working if your connection drops for a moment, and any progress you make is uploaded when you’re back online. Opening a lesson needs an internet connection.

Refresh the page while connected to the internet. Progress from your other devices is brought in each time a page opens.

Yes. In a lesson, open Options (top right) and choose Larger text. You can also use your browser’s zoom.

Yes. Everything works with a keyboard (Tab, Enter and the arrow keys), and pages are labelled for screen readers. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations are switched off.

The site follows your device’s light or dark setting. To choose yourself, use the sun/moon button at the top of the page, or Options → Dark mode in a lesson.

iPhone/iPad (Safari): tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”.
Android (Chrome): tap the ⋮ menu, then “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
Computer (Chrome or Edge): click the install icon at the right of the address bar.

We’re testing Using AI Well with a small group before the full launch. Everything is free during the beta. Some things may change, and your feedback shapes what we improve.

Use the Feedback button at the bottom of any page (or Options → Send feedback inside a lesson). We read every message.

After the beta, full access will be a one-time payment of $10 AUD, not a subscription. The first lesson will stay free so anyone can try it.

Text you type into lesson activities stays on your own device and is not sent to us.
